Does any of these sound familiar?
- Orders are tracked in multiple WhatsApp chats
- Staff keep asking you where to find information
- You don’t have a clear view of stock or sales
- Important client details are scattered everywhere
- Reports take hours or days to prepare manually
- You can’t step away because everything depends on you
These are not staff problems.
They are system problems.
I design internal tools that organise your operations, automate routine work, and give you full visibility into your business.
WHAT I BUILD
Custom internal tools built for how your business actually works
Not generic software you have to force-fit. Custom systems built around your specific processes, your team, and your unique business context.
Inventory management systems
Real-time stock tracking across locations. No more manual counts, lost records, or stockkeeper dependencies.
Client management portals
Every client, every interaction, every order in one place. Never lose a follow-up or duplicate a record again.
Approval workflows
Structured processes that work without you. Requests, approvals, and escalations that happen on time, every time.
Custom dashboards
See your business clearly. Revenue, operations, staff performance — all in one view, updated in real time.
Business automation
Eliminate the manual tasks your team does every day. Save hours, reduce errors, and scale without hiring.

ABOUT BARAKAT
I build custom business systems for what your business actually needs
I understand operational chaos because I have watched it quietly destroy businesses that had every reason to thrive.
My name is Barakat Awoyemi. I am a software developer and the CEO of Barola Technologies Limited, working with businesses across Nigeria and internationally. I build custom internal management tools for growing businesses – the businesses that are too big for manual processes but have not yet found software that actually fits how they operate.
I have built tools for businesses across industries from trading and logistics to professional services and technology. I recently delivered an app for a client that he spoke about unprompted in both ThisDay Live and The Sun Nigeria, praising the quality, the professionalism, and the delivery. That is the standard I hold myself to on every project.
I am also the founder of Tech Money Academy, where I have trained over a thousand children in technology and AI skills over the last two summers. Some of the parents of Tech Money Academy alumni include Madam Betty Akeredolu-Ale of Channels TV, Alhaji Sadudeen, the Group Head of Financial Control at UBA, and so many professionals across different sectors like oil & gas, real estate, banking, insurance, medical, hospitality, small businesses, education, etc.
I was educated at the University of London, one of the world’s most prestigious universities in the UK where I smashed many academic records including being the only student in my set to graduate with a First Class Honours. I got my MBA in Marketing from HEC Paris, one of the world’s leading business schools in France. I bring both technical precision and business thinking to every system I build.
More than any credential, I understand your business. I understand what it costs to run on chaos. And I know exactly how to fix it.

FAQ – Questions Businesses Ask Before We Work Together
- How much does it cost to build a custom internal tool?
Every system is scoped to the specific problem your business needs to solve, so there is no single fixed price. The price depends on the complexity of your operations, the number of users, and the integrations required. The best first step is a free 30-minute systems audit. After that conversation, I can give you an accurate scope and cost estimate with no obligation. - How long does it take to build a custom business system?
Most systems are delivered within 3 to 6 weeks. Simpler tools like a single inventory tracker or a client records portal can be ready in a few days. More complex systems involving multiple departments, approval chains, or third-party integrations take longer. You will always know the timeline before we begin. - My business is already running. Will this disrupt my operations?
No. Systems are built and tested separately before they go live. Your team continues working normally throughout the build. When the system is ready, we do a structured handover with training so adoption is smooth. Most clients are surprised by how quickly their staff start using it. - Will my staff actually use the system, or will they go back to WhatsApp?
This is one of the most common concerns and a fair one at that. The reason staff avoid new tools is usually that the tools are built for generic businesses, not theirs. Because your system is built around exactly how your team already works, the learning curve is minimal. I also include a handover and training session in every project. - What kinds of businesses do you build systems for?
I work with growing businesses doing ₦30 million or more in annual revenue that have outgrown WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and manual tracking. My clients span logistics, trading, professional services, healthcare, and technology. If you are managing operations across more than 3 people and things are starting to slip through the cracks, a custom system is likely the right conversation to have. - Is this different from buying off-the-shelf software like Zoho or Odoo?
Yes, and significantly so. Off-the-shelf tools are built for every business, which means they are a perfect fit for none. They come with features you will never use, miss workflows specific to your business, and often require your team to change how they work to suit the software. A custom internal tool is built around your actual processes. You own it, it fits your business, and it grows with you. - What happens after the system is built?
You get full ownership of the system. After handover, I offer ongoing support and maintenance packages for businesses that want continued updates, new features, or technical support as they scale. There is no lock-in because you are never dependent on a subscription or a vendor’s roadmap.
Is your business ready for proper systems?
Book a free 30-minute systems audit. No pitch — just an honest look at where technology can save your business time and money.
